Suzanne Sherman RN started Living Solutions for Seniors in 2004 after becoming aware of the growing need for education and guidance through the maze of senior services.
Suzanne has worked in the nursing field since 1979. She has worked for various private physicians, in many of the local hospitals, for home health agencies and other healthcare entities. With a strong background caring for patients with mulitiple diagnosis Suzanne is able to take into account all the areas of a senior's lifestyle when formatting a plan of care.
Services offered by Suzanne herself include but are not limited to:
Medication Management
Patient Advocacy (accompaniment to medical appointments)
Well check visits to home, nursing home, or assisted living facility
Review of finances and application for assistance.
Ms. Sherman participates in the following local organizations:
Austin Area Home Health Council
Austin Case Managers Association
Inter Agency Council on Aging
South Austin Caregivers Association
Raised in a Midwest farming community, Suzanne continues to practice small town ethics in her professional practice. "Everyone deserves some kind of guidance to the solutions available" is the code by which she practices.
Suzanne has been living in the Austin area since 1984. Raising organic food in her 2000 sq ft garden is her favorite pasttime. Of, course living in Austin also means she enjoys listening to local music.
Sam, her 14 year old "best friend", is her constant companion whether race walking, camping, or watching her garden.t
